Standard courses (125cc)

For the novice or rider with little experience. We arrange everything including the accompanied test appointment. Includes C.B.T. and trainging up to test standard. Training may be taken over a period of up to six monthsto ensure adequate time for preparation. Of course we cannot guarantee a test pass, but if you do fail, further training is free - you just pay the test fee plus motorcycle hire/insurance.

For the rider who wishes to take an intensive course with a test at the end of the week. Five consecutive days with the final test on the fifth day.

For the more experienced rider. Again everything is arranged for you - CBT, training and part 2 test. You have the option of spreading the pre-test training over a period of weeks for more relaxed and effective learning.

The compulsory basic training course which includes: classroom work, legal requirements, familiarisation with the motorcycle, general safety on the road.

Practical on site training, taking the rider from basic machine control, through increasingly complicated manoeuvres, to a high level of motorcycle handling.

On road training - After a thorough briefing on safe road use the rider will undergo practical road training in a variety of situations. Each rider will have to demonstrate complete safety and competence in all types of traffic conditions, particular regard being paid to: roundabouts, junctions, pedestrian crossings, traffic lights, hills, overtaking, and cornering.

The course normally runs from 9am to 5pm.
Depending on the rider's ability, more time may be needed to complete the course.

These are normally hour long lessons on a one to one basis to bring the rider up to test standard. Bike to bike radios are used to fully prepare the rider for the Dept of Transport accompanied test. At the instructor's discretion these lessons might be carried out on a group basis, but the length of the lesson and the cost will be adjusted accordingly

These lessons are often taken by riders after passing the accompanied test. Riders unused to the performance possibilities of modern motorcycles can be shown how to use any road situation safely, making progress swiftly on two wheels in a way not possible in a car on today's busy roads. Awareness of hazards is increased, the ability to use forward observation to spot potential danger situations is explored, and the rider is given a system of riding that will increase enjoyment and give years of safe motorcycling pleasure.
